Planting more spuds!!

Well not a very exciting post....19th April and my second early potatoes have just gone in...I have chosen Maris Piper as I know I like these.

Trying to pull up the broccoli..and behind the new spuds are already in!

Also pulled up last years purple sprouting broccoli..we ate quite a lot but I must remember not to plant quite so much this year as it doesn't freeze well and there isn't much you can do with it so it went to seed. It does have beautiful yellow flowers though which I really wasn't expecting!!

It was incredibly hard stuff to dig up so in the end we got down on the floor...cut it off at the base and dug out the roots!!
