Well this was going to be a totally iconic post of how much I had got done today. You see I had a plan, get up the plot for a nit and photograph my new land and start on the digging, get my new mini greenhouse put together and get the seeds in.
It started well with me putting the new greenhouse together and I even got the seed boxes arranged inside it ...but that is as far as I got. I just couldn't find the inclination to go up the allotment and start on the new barren landscape I have been issued...it's such a daunting task to be back where I was two years ago....I didn't even go and take a photo of it.
As for the seeds...I opened the box and just had that many I didn't even know where to start. I kind of went crazy in the sales last year and just kept pulling out more and more stuff...so in the end they all went back in the box and I got none of them planted. I was totally defeated!!!!
This is however going to be a very minor lapse, I have got my head around the seed problem and will be sorting them out by dates and going from there first so that no seeds get wasted...and I have a plan for the new plot which includes a greenhouse, composting daleks and a raised bed all of which I am hoping to get my hands on. With this in mind I will start again next weekend and hope that the weather is going to be kind to me!!!

As long as you have even a small plan, you will have nothing but success.
ReplyDeleteYou will get there in the end. I have sorted my seeds into months in which they need to be sowed, I find this helps. Also, I don't sow them all together, I find that if I spread it out so that I'm sowing a few things each week it's less daunting. Good luck with the new plot, it will be hard work but will be worth it in the end.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me only my problem is with my craft projects. I have so many I want to do that I don't know where to start so I don't do any of them. I hope you have better luck than I at getting things accomplished. At least you got the greenhouse put together
