Well the weather has been pretty unsettled this week but on the plus side it hasn't rained continually!!
Temperatures have ranged between 8 and 18 degrees during the day and haven't dropped below about 3 degrees in the evening so luckily we haven't had any frosts.
We have seen at least a little rain every day since Sunday but this has come in fits and starts and in between the showers we have even seen some sunshine and blue sky!!
The wind has been quite gusty the last few days but apparently according to the weather man this is going to die down tonight and we are going to have a dry and relatively calm weekend.
I'm hoping they are right so I can get some work done in the garden and allotment...but I won't hold my breath over it.

It is raining here in Sweden. I am not well. Sore throat, headache. stomach ache. I slept and dreamed that I was well during the night. Woke up to the roaring in my ears. I think I have an ear infection too. I wish I could go back to slept and pretend that everything is all right.
It is my daughter' eighth birthday today, Saturday, and I have not done anything for her. Poor child. My ex is taking care of the cake and party.
Hope you can stay well, now that we are approaching the season for serious garden-work!

DeleteDear Tanya, The weather here in NY is quite nice yesterday and today. There has been quite a bit of rain and it is expected to come back next week, but I don't mind.

As for the broiler. I create my own double broiler. I just boil water in a pot and then put a smaller pot on top, so that it is sitting in the water and warm the milk or whatever I don't want directly on the burner.
