It's quick and simple and also great for helping to keep colds at bay in the winter.

It is very simple to make...simply add the quantity of garlic and ginger you want into whatever chopping machine you have (in my case I used my Magic Bullet... :-) and chop until fine. Then add in the amount of butter you want to use and soften sufficiently in the microwave so that you can mix everything easily. Store in the fridge and use at your leisure!!

DeleteGarlic is supposed to have all sorts of properties that are good for our health isn't it. I remember taking garlic tablets from the health food store for something maybe catarrh - can't remember.
ReplyDeleteGarlic has lots of properties that's healthy for us, it is great for clearing up sinuses...also good for lowering cholesterol...i think I will maybe do a more in depth piece on garlic soon Sue.

Hope you find many ways to use this Catherine. I am a huge ginger lover and this is a great way to get it into more dishes...it gives such a fresh taste to food.

ReplyDeleteIt's not something I got out of a book, just put the ingredients together to help with cold and hay-fever....it's amazing what great combinations you can come up with....mind you I've had some terrible ones too.
