    1. I didn't even realise I had raspberries so quite a few got left to go mouldy on the canes...I will know to check in future!

  3. Not a good year for fruit at all for me. The late frost killed off the tree blossom so the apple, pear and cherry trees are bereft of fruit. The fruit bushes are not doing much better either.

Good to see that you have some fruit at least!

    1. My fruit trees aren't great wither Mark...I think maybe the placement of my bushes afforded them some protection from those late frosts as other people on pour allotments haven't had as much as me.

    1. I first had Lingonberries in Sweden years ago Sue. As a stand alone fruit I don't think much to them but they grate carrot and mix them in...it's kind of peculiar but it works...just hope I get enough fruit to do it...they are very small bushes of a year old.

  8. Dear Tanya,
What beautiful fruits! You must have been very busy nurturing these babies.
Thank you so much for your kind comments about my RFW-story. I have revised it a little and made it longer. I think you are right, I should try to be kinder to Jenny.

    1. I have to admit to being a bit of a 'let it get on with it' gardener and letting nature take it's natural course although I do like to give the bushes a good pruning every so often so that they have chance to rest for a while which after such a good harvest I will be doing this year.
