Allotments, bees, gardening and Spring!!!!

Well I am still here. The last few weeks have been kind of hectic and with computer and cat problems plus the horrific weather posting has been non existent and to be quite frank would probably have had me moaning quite a bit.

But things are looking up now, the weather has decided that we can have spring, daylight savings have been put into place and I have started my bee course so over the course of the next couple of days I will 'bee' updating you all on what's been going on and catching up with everyone too.

Hope you are all enjoying the better weather.

More later.

  1. The extra daylight is very welcome Tanya - just need some extra warmth to go with it.

  2. Well I thought we were getting better weather but it's done a uturn and can't decide whether it should snow or be sunny.
I'd be happy with a few degrees warmer at the moment.
Glad to heat that weather is picking up in your neck o the woods though.

  3. Nice! I'm glad things are looking up for you. We are on day 1 of a three day winter storm. So spring is postponed again.

  5. Dear Tanya, This sounds like it will be fun to learn about.
We have started our planting indoors. We are using seeds and have about 60 little plants all near the windows. I hope that these plants will grow once they are planted outdoors. I am not sure the soil will be ready since there was so much salt water saturating the ground from the storm. They have started to sprout!! and I am happy about that. It is fun to watch the progress as they grow.
The weather here is very fickle. It was cold last week and warm this week, though it is going to be cool again the rest of the week. Right now there is a thunder storm going on.
I hope all is well with you and I am happy to visit with you.
Life is slowly coming back in the neighborhood though there still is much to be done. I am happy for small steps.Blessings dear friend and take care. Catherine xo
