A little bit done........

Well I did manage to get down the allotment Sunday afternoon and start clearing up. I was only there an hour before I had filled the green wheelie bin which should give you some hints as to how bad it is....no photo's....still far too ashamed!!

Yesterday the weather was far too gross to go out in but today is brighter and I will be popping down later to put in a couple of gooseberry bushes that have been given to me for the bee plot by Krys and Andy so thank you both!!

But none of the is the real reason I am posting today....here is the real reason....

german shepherd/collie cross. Trojan. R.S.P.C.A. rescue dog.
Trojan!!!
Yes he is the star again...and not just at home every single minute...but tonight on the T.V. Trojan's  rescue will be shown so he will be seen with all his brothers and sisters. The show will be on at 7:30pm, 12/11/13 on channel 5. I know many of my readers aren't from the U.K. so I don't know whether you will be able to view it but I wanted to share this with you as you have all shown great interest in Trojan since I first mentioned him and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for letting me waffle on about him on my blog even though it is nothing garden related!!!

Maybe I will see you all tomorrow with something that is garden related...or maybe a few recipes. We'll see!!

  1. I've just watched a clip on the Channel 5 website - is Trojan the dog in the shed by itself?

    2. No Sue, Trojan was locked in the garage with several others. He was the dog that had to be carried to the van.

    3. I thought I'd sent this but here we go again. I realised in the show as they said the dog in the shed was female and so tried to scan which I thought was Trojan.

Glad they all got good homes so disgusting how some people treat their anmals

    4. Two of the females (those locked in the sheds alone I think) are still yet to be homed, they needed to learn to socialize more than the others. One has just come up for re-homing and the other is coming along nicely in a foster home. Trojan hid behind Joey when the garage was opened. He recognised Joey's bark last night!!

    5. That's amazing - do you intend to let them meet up?

    6. Unfortunately I have no idea who adopted the other dogs Sue so it wouldn't be an easy thing to do and I doubt the R.S.P.C.A. are allowed to giver out that info. Maybe we will see them again but they could be homed anywhere. On the plus side my parents and friends have dogs and there are plenty in the village so Trojan has lots of pals to meet up with and go for walks with and play with. He kind of likes having us all to himself when they go home though!! :-)

  5. Dear Tanya, I never get tired of hearing about Trojan. I don't get your channel but I would watch it if I did.
Never feel funny about posting your photo's. I am sure if I ever showed my garden it would make people wonder, "why do I even bother!"
I will look forward to hearing how the show turned out.

Blessings dear and a big hug, Catherine xo
