April 2014 weather summary.

spring trees
So a little later than planned but a little bit about Aprils weather.

We did have one day where the temperature reached 20 degrees Celsius. That was if you could get in the sun out of the breeze anyway!!

We had that horrible smog for four days at the beginning of the month but once that cleared it was a pretty decent month.
We had a few days of rain.
The winds were mild as were the temperatures.
Spring arrived full force.

Not really much else to say about it.

Everything seems to be growing well...especially the weeds which is always the way!!

Sunrise on last day of April 5:31am
Sunset on last day of April 8:20pm.

D'you like the photo?? I had nothing to put up with this post so sat on my sofa and zoomed the camera to the tree outside our lounge window on the opposite side of the road.

I think it cam out pretty well!!

  1. I envy people who can take photos through their windows. I have loads of birds visiting the feeders which hang from the branches of the lilac tree right outside my window but I can't get a photo of them as the windows are leaded and the lead gets in the way, so annoying.

    1. I can imagine how annoying that is. Kind of like when you visit an animal park and you can't get that great photo of the big cats due to the fencing!!

  2. We were lucky and avoided the smog. The photo did work well.

  3. I would have loved to see the neighbours faces if they had seen you with a camera looking out of the window. I agree with you about April a very mixed bag of weather but pleasant all the same.

  5. Don't you just love the sudden greening up everywhere, especially that bright lime green of new leaves unfurling? You must be pleased with your new camera and the zoom facility.
