Greenhouse decisions.

So you may or may not have noticed that in one of my previous posts the greenhouse was in an upright position.
windswept no more.
This was once the fatality of storm Doris....now however it is upright even if a little bent in places...it is however definitely salvageable...the question is...Should I salvage it??

I will need to replace glass that got broken but I do think it's a worthwhile project and then I can have the second greenhouse that I want.

I would love your thoughts on what you would do with it....should it just go to the scrap man....or should I spend a bit of money and give it a second lease of life??

  1. Why not try using the frame and covering with strong polythene to make a polygreenhouse

  2. Maybe a cheaper option is to cover it with polythene, the same as they use on polytunnels. This would give you a few years to see if you really need the greenhouse and then decide if you want the expense of glass.

  3. How sturdy was it before the damage? I can't use that style here because the winds are too hard on them, but if you think you can get a few more years of use, I'd say go for it.

  4. Throw netting over it and make it into a fruit cage, I bought two frames from B&Q when they were clearing their stocks last year just for that purpose

  6. Thank you for your time and effort to have had these things together on this website. Mary and I very much loved your suggestions through your own articles over certain things. I know that you have a number of demands on your own schedule so the fact that you actually took as much time like you did to help people like us through this article is definitely highly liked. greenhouse kits for sale
