I gave one of my baths for nothing yesterday, but got a bag of cooking apples in return. Not sure what i'm going to do with them yet, but hey :D

There are a lot of horses where we are, they run up and down Blackpool front, would cost them more to get rid of it, so hence freely dropped off at the site. You do find some strange things in the manure though, strange syringes, tools, string lol. Not found a £50 note fallen from the muckers back pocket yet though lol :DThe Boy Ollertonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01551038094292328610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7175981378563441793.post-5103295528933614322010-08-24T16:29:43.292+01:002010-08-24T16:29:43.292+01:00**"quickly dug him some potatoes, carrots, on...**"quickly dug him some potatoes, carrots, onions and beetroot and also picked him some kohl rabi, borlotti beans swiss chard and chili's"

Blimey, that manure set you back a fair bit lol :) Mine is free, so are the bark chippings.**

Not at all Mark...my cousin is quite happy just to give the manure but I am not one for taking something for nothing so whilst I have veg growing I give him something in return in the knowledge that i have 'safe' manure bagged and delivered on a regular basis all throughout the year and never have to do anything for it.Tanya.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08436595615435609755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7175981378563441793.post-28459675815822502712010-08-24T10:27:25.207+01:002010-08-24T10:27:25.207+01:00Thank God for the rain, though Tanya: I assume you...Thank God for the rain, though Tanya: I assume you need it as much as I do?Soilmanhttp://www.soilman.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7175981378563441793.post-58629766650419006122010-08-24T02:48:33.517+01:002010-08-24T02:48:33.517+01:00I haven't seen a snake in a long time.
