I don't know if bark would be any cheaper than gravel...I got one of those huge bags for the top bit and it cost just under £40 with delivery.

It looks fab. I'd like to get some bark chippings down to lay paths, but it seems quite expensive. I wonder if gravel would work out any cheaper.
