The blackberries will just become smaller and wilder if you don't prune. You need to cut out all the branches that have fruited and keep the new branches or at least some of them.

I'm in agreement with the others: mushroom identification is an art and it's better to just dispose of any mushrooms that you aren't entirely confident about. In France you can take them to a pharmacy and the pharmacist will identify them for you, but I wouldn't try taking them into Boots for the same service!

I think the general rule with mushrooms is to assume that any you find are poisonous. I like the incinerator. when the leaves all fell off the trees around here I thought I was going to have to rake them up. But then they all blew away only a day later. there are still some here and there, but I won't be doing any raking.

My mums back lawn has mushrooms in. They looked a bit like oyster mushrooms! My advice is always 'don't eat if you don't know' so they're still there in the lawn!
That's a bargain incinerator! Will have to take a trip to Wilkinsons and see what they have here!

Last time we went we got some really cheap trays for tomatoes in the greenhouse! Bargains!
