Looks like its going to be a busy Spring! :)VanillaSevenhttp://vanillaseven.com/2010/03/15/a-night-at-melaka-part-3noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7175981378563441793.post-81251529429479078342010-03-14T22:55:01.197Z2010-03-14T22:55:01.197ZLooks like you all had a lovely day on the plot I got in about three hours today myself, so I&#39;m pleased as punch too.<br /><br />I&#39;m no expert on brussels but have read and been told by many, that the ground needs to be very well firmed in around the plant&#39;s roots (and I stake my tall brassicus just be sure they don&#39;t get wind rock). <br /><br />Also I believe they like limed soil but that you should not lime the soil the same time as you apply manure as this creates ammonia in the soil which may burn the plant before it is leached out by the rain.
