Hope this message finds you well. My name is Maria and I’m a Spanish girl working at Arena Media in London. I came across your blog, and I thought that you and your readers might be interested in an infographic we just launched about chilli peppers. The infographic “Hotter than the sun” includes tips about how to grow your own chillies and how to put out the fire when a chilli turns out to be hotter than expected. It also represents the heat of 15 types of chilli peppers and answers many other questions about them.
It was such a nice e-mail that I went over to check it out and wanted to share it with all of you so after checking it was OK I went ahead and published it here too. I hope you enjoy it...there is also a link below so you can have a look through the rest of the site if you would like.

Dear Tanya and Maria, I love the chart and learning about the different peppers and their heat.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good lesson. I will have to try the suggestions for growing next spring.
Thank you and blessings,
Catherine

Glad you found the chart interesting Catherine...it's always nice to learn new things!!
DeleteP.S. Dear Tanya,
ReplyDeleteI get my garlic powder at the grocery store. It is one of the less expensive spices in the store.
I use the garlic powder not the garlic salt to cut back on the salt.
I put the garlic powder in the marinade and the tomato sauce.
I hope you like it and thank you for trying it.
Blessings to you dear friend,
Catherine xo
I hate garlic salt due to the 'extra salt'. I will see if powder is available here as it would be handy to have it in. Why don't you use fresh garlic all the time?
DeleteI received the same email so I won't share it on my blog too.
ReplyDeleteYou probably could to be honest Sue...you have a lot more readers than me to share with.
DeleteHi Tanya,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your lovely comments and for sharing the infographic. We worked really hard to create something that people would enjoy and find interesting!
I hope you learned something new!
All the best,
Maria from Arena Media
My pleasure Maria, it's great to have something so visual to refer back to if needs be rather than trailing through text all the time.
DeleteReally interesting piece Tanya, thanks for posting the info! Rubbed pepper in my eyes once after handling them, ouch!!! was blind for about an hour.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great piece which is why I wanted to share it with all of my readers!!
